TQHA Sale Graduate BRIDLED LIGHTNING has
earned the title as the Champion Accredited Texas Bred Two Year Old Filly.
Starting the year off with authority the Warner Croft homebred broke
her maiden by a 1 ¾ length victory then ventured on to win the
Grade 3 Ford Texas Challenge at Retama Park. The Phone Prince filly went
on to run game seconds in the Grade I Sam Houston Futurity at Sam Houston
Race Park and the Joe B Turner Memorial Stakes at Lone Star Park while
also qualifying for the Restricted Grade I TQHA Sale Futurity. Under
the care of trainer Bobby Moore in 2006, Bridled Lightning now has over
$107,000 in the bank with 9 starts, 4 wins (1 stakes) and 3 seconds (2
stakes).

Texas Bred Two Year Old Gelding. Purchased by owner D. D. Lightsey at
the 2005 TQHA Yearling Sale and trained by Janet Van Bebber, Snowy Alibi
has proven to be a grand investment. The This Snow Is Royal gelding showed
his superior class during the Sam Houston Race Park Quarter Horse meet
winning both the Restricted Grade I TQHA Sale Futurity and Grade I Sam
Houston Futurity against tough competition. Snowy Alibi ended the year
running a game third in the Southwest Juvenile Invitational at Zia Park
in New Mexico to post a speed index of 103. Bred by Narciso Flores, Snowy
Alibi has never finished worse than third ending his freshmen campaign
with 8 starts, 5 wins (2 stakes), 2 seconds and 1 third (1 stake) and
over $317,000 in earnings.

made a name for himself early running second against Okey Dokey Fantasy
in the Grade II Longhorn Futurity at Manor Downs. The Sue Hunt bred then
ventured on to win the Grade 1 Retama Park Futurity by a half length
and posting a 117 speed index. The gutsy colt also turned in stellar
performances by qualifying to two major Grade I Futuries; the Manor Downs
Futurity and the Sam Houston Futurity . Zoomin For Bux is owned by Mario
H. Vazquez and trained by Joe Garza and ended the season with 10 starts,

Bred Champion Three Year Old Gelding. After a minimal freshman campaign
Fly Corona Cat returned to the track for his sophomore campaign focused
and ready to run for owner Garlyn O. Shelton. The Corona Cartel gelding
won the Grade II Sam Houston Derby convincingly to post a 98 speed index
amongst some of the toughest three year olds in the country. The R. C.
Howell trainee was a multiple stakes qualifier in 2006 running second
in the Restricted Grade II Lazy E Derby early in the year at Remington
Park and ended the year at Lone Star Park running fourth in the Grade
I Dash For Cash Derby. He also placed second in the Savannah Jr. Stakes.

until the end to capture the largest Derby in Texas, the Grade I Texas
Classic Derby and in dominating fashion. This awesome runner who gives

SNOW IS COLD. The five-year-old racy mare turned in the performance
of a lifetime in 2006 winning the Grade I MBNA America Challenge Championship
at Lone Star Park for owner Los Ladrilleros Horse Racing Company and
trainer Melinda Garcia. The This Snow Is Royal mare was triumphant
in the MBNA America Oklahoma and Texas Challenge. This mare faced solid
competition all year including starts in the Grade II Sam Houston Classic
and the Grade I Refrigerator Handicap where she finished second. The
Accredited Texas Bred was bred by Raedele Phillips and in 2006 alone
made over $310,000 with 4 wins (3 stakes) and 2 seconds (2 stakes)
and has a career high speed index of 110. This Snow Is Cold is also
the 2006 AQHA Texas High Point Aged Mare.

Croft, Strider Man earned $75,656 for the year by winning the Grade I
Red Cell Challenge Championship at Lone Star Park to post a speed index
of 102. He also turned in stellar performances by running a well fought
second in the Red Cell East Challenge and game thirds in the Manor Downs
Handicap III and the Red Cell Texas Challenge. The Phone Prince gelding

and Les & Leah Horner. The Streakin La Jolla stallion has been a
consistent contender for three years but in 2006 he turned in some of
his best performances, by becoming an AQHA Superior Race Horse, including
winning the Grade II Sam Houston Classic against tough older competition.
Bred by J B Moss and trained by Heath Taylor La Jollaroid also ran game
seconds in the Restricted Grade III TQHA Classic Stakes and the Classic
Chevrolet Heartbeat of America Handicap as well as a third place finishes
in the Yambilee Stakes at Evangeline Downs. La Jollaroid now has 5 wins
