Additional Live Racing Dates Added to 2008 Racing Season

Sam Houston Race Park announces updates to the 2008 live racing calendar with the addition of racing dates for the 2008 Quarter Horse Meet and the 2008 Thoroughbred Meet.

Calendar changes to the 2008 racing calendar include:

Saturday, July 5 - No Racing

Friday, September 12 - New Racing Date Added

Saturday, September 13 - New Racing Date Added

Wednesday, December 31 - New Racing Date Added

Sam Houston Race Park is Houston’s premier racing and entertainment facility and offers a variety of attractions including 19 luxury suites overlooking the race track, The Pavilion Centre, and award-winning dining options at the Winner’s Circle Restaurant and Jockey Club.  The Park will be home to nearly 40 concert events and more than 1000 functions in 2008.
