The Horse Show Series are shows in Texas that are approved
by the Texas Quarter Horse Association. The shows and dates listed count
toward year end points in both Youth and Amateur programs. Also, when
you show in any of the Horse Show Series approved shows, you are eligible
to compete in the invitational TQHA Champion of Champions Show in May.
An “Approved Show” means show points earned in Amateur and
Youth classes may be counted toward year-end awards for the Texas Amateur
Quarter Horse Association & Texas Quarter Horse Youth Association.
You must be a current Texas Amateur or Texas Youth Member for points
to count toward year end award nominations and for Champion of Champions
qualifying certificates to be valid.
Important Dates:
Amateur Year End Awards Qualifying: January 1 thru
December 31
Youth World Qualifying: May 1 thru April 30
Youth Year-End Awards
Qualifying: May 1 thru December 31
Champion of Champions Qualifying: April 1 thru
March 31 (pending)
